The combination of four medicines helps in the treatment of cough. It helps in losing and thinning mucus (phlegm) and helps to move out cough easier. Ambroxol helps in the breakdown of phlegm. It also helps in the treatment of the respiratory of one who has thick or too much phlegm. Terbutaline helps in treating the problems associated with the lungs such as shortness of breath, wheezing, and other problems like bronchitis, asthma, emphysema, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Guaiphenesin helps make the cough easier by thinning the mucus and clearing the airways. Menthol is used to treat sore mouth, sore throat, pain, and occasional minor irritation. It also helps to provide relief in case of a cold and cough.
